(A) Competition rules
1、The competition is completed as an individual welding competition, and no help from other personnel shall be sought during the process.
2, the participants should ensure the quality of the premise of the shortest possible time to complete the competition special parts welding.
3, the competition time is 25 minutes, 25 minutes to time should immediately stop the competition, after the completion of welding, the contestants will be placed in the designated position, the judges stop the table to record the completion time.
4、The whole process of the competition, should comply with the safety operating procedures, do a good job of wearing protective equipment, do a good job of civilized production.
5, the competition will be divided into gas welding and argon arc welding two groups for the competition, the two groups separately record the score for evaluation.
6, in order to ensure the fairness of the competition, all welding equipment in the competition before all in the off state, all adjustment knobs in the starting position.
(B) Scoring criteria
1、The competition is based on the final result of the welding quality score and the time spent score.
2, welding competition each person welding the same weld, a total of 100 points, scoring rules are as follows.
1) Welding parameters: current, voltage, gas flow adjustment, welding speed, compliance with relevant safety requirements.
2) Whether the welded parts meet the requirements shown in the drawings.
3), the amount of welding deformation is controlled within a reasonable range, whether the welded parts can be used normally.
4), improper weld size (too large, too small, residual height), and whether the weld is equilateral.
5), poorly formed weld seam (requiring a smooth transition, uniform weld wave, fine, and straight joints).
6), whether the weld is fused, weld through, biting and edge straightness parts and weld surface spatter, welding slag.

In order to make the competition more fair and impartial, all the entries are decided by staff drawing numbers to determine the competition order, and the corresponding numbers are written on the finished works. All the participating weldments are put together and scored by one representative each from R&D, technology, production and quality according to the competition score sheet, and the competition players take the average score of the four judges as the final score.
